Persuasive Writing - Powell Hut
I think that the Year 8s should go to Powell Hut because of the following reasons. It is a school tradition meaning many Year 8s before us have done it, proving that it is possible to do it at our age. It is also a good challenge. It’s good exercise which helps us to get fit and it will make us feel proud of ourselves and feel a great sense of achievement.
In addition it’s good to get out of your comfort zone and do things you don’t want to do and tramping up Powell Hut at this age is a once in a lifetime experience. Finally there are beautiful views of the Wairarapa and the sun set/rises are amazing. Without a doubt Powell Hut is a great experience which may be difficult, but well worth it in the end.
