What’s on this week – Week 8 Term 1 2015 ‘Movin’ March Week’

I still have 1 or 2 Report files missing so can you check at home and remind your child to return their Report File from last year – thanks.

Monday – Year 7’s all out on their first EOTC.  Can I have all of the Year 8 EOTC forms returned this week and any parent helpers too please!  I have had to work really hard to get these organised and I have to have help from parents / whanau for transport and supervision, so please help us if you can, otherwise we may have to cancel.  Movin’ March begins with our decorated gate.

Tuesday –Technology.  Covered shoes essential and girls need to tie up their hair.  Careers and Languages.  Wheels day for Movin’ March.

Wednesday –– All in Day for Movin’ March – Dress up your bikes, scooters etc

Thursday –Crazy Shoe day for Movin’ March.  Radio Show recorded today with the winners interviewed on the show.

Friday – Yr 5/8 softball.  Movin’ March  - Spot prizes at the gate for those using bikes, scooters, skateboards etc.

Year 8 Whanau – I still have some slots over this week for us to catch up plus I am available over the holidays to come and chat.

If your child has a device, they are welcome to bring it along to enhance learning, however please ensure that it is ‘school compatible’ so it will need Google drive and Docs, plus any games need to be age appropriate.

Class Blog- room14cartertonschool2015.blogspot.co.nz.  Check us out and I will be putting any info on the blog such as reminders etc, plus what we have been doing at school and in class.

Google docs – your child has their class log-in and can find any homework etc on Google Drive.  Plus you can see what they have been doing in class if they are using a device or netbook.  We also have 5 new Chrome books to use as well as our other devices.
